Drawn from a vehicular vein, I wanted this chair to have the stance of a super car and the tension of a arrow drawn in a bow. Approaching each side as I would a car, calling attention to shadows, negative space, soft bevels and continous lines around fender, hood & grille. Joints reach past their normal stopping point suggesting movement; like a car that looks fast even while parked. In the works are a painted version and a lounge chair. I call it "TheFastback".
